Open Rank Faculty Position - Health Policy and Management
The Department of Health Policy and Management (HPM) seeks to fill at least one tenure track open rank faculty position with responsibilities in research, teaching, and mentoring in the department’s academic programs. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in public health services research, health policy research, and/or quantitative methods. The ideal candidate will have an established, or emerging, research track-record that includes publishing in leading HPM-related journals, collaborating with doctoral students, and engaging in relevant funded work including as PI.
The department has recently undergone an exciting period of growth and development, and has greatly diversified its research portfolio while growing its academic programs. Faculty members in the department are currently leading collaborative research projects funded by the NIH, CDC, AHRQ, RWJF, various state agencies, the NCAA, and many more. These innovative projects address a diverse array of significant health services, management, and policy problems.
The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management, which is one of the largest programs in the School. In addition, we offer the only CAHME-accredited MHA degree in the state. The department also offers MPH and PhD degrees in HPM, and is launching a new executive DrPH program in Global Health Leadership.
The Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health is located on the IUPUI campus in downtown Indianapolis. IUPUI is the health and life science campus of Indiana University and the focal point of health profession education in the State of Indiana. The School and HPM department benefit from close relationships with the IU Schools of Medicine and Nursing, the IU Kelley School of Business, the Regenstrief Institute, the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute, the Indiana Hospital Association, various Indiana agencies, and healthcare providers throughout the state.
