This week we join our fellow public health students and colleagues across the nation to kick off National Public Health Week. This is a time to celebrate the impact public health has made on our country and state.
Pursuing an education or career in public health means advocating for prevention that benefits all people, striving to ensure everyone has a chance at a long and healthy life, and working to build healthier communities that will contribute to a healthier nation.
This year, we have highlighted some of the students and programs making an impact on our campus.
We also have several events planned on campus to celebrate public health and we would love for you to join us at one.
